Halloween K Cup Lights

Are you an avid coffee drinker and Halloween lover? Then hang onto your K-Cups pal, cause I have an amazing, easy, DIY for YOU!

Instead of buying new light up decor, why not make your very own to display!

If you have a strand of plain white lights, a bunch of K Cups (I’m a 2-3 cup a day kinda gal) and some spray paint (optional! I made some lights orange but you could do all ghost lights and keep the K cups unpainted if you desire).

I spray painted half my lights orange so I could have an alternating ghost and pumpkin design.

After the paint dried, the fun part began where I added cute little personalities to every ghost and pumpkin! I used sharpie for ease but black acrylic paint would work too and weather the elements if you hang your lights outside.

Sometimes it is easy to pop the LED light bulb into the pre made hole but some of the cups needed a little more of a wider opening so a drill can be used to help.

The final tedious step is popping each little cup on the lights like little lamp shades.

And the best step and my favorite step, is plugging them in when they’re done to soak up the magical Halloween glow!

I hope this simple, easy, upcycled idea makes your Halloween a little BRIGHTER! 🎃

Stay spooky,

Callie Jo
