Happy October! It’s naturally my favorite time of year, and hopefully by incorporating pumpkins into our play time throughout the month, it’ll easily become my kids favorite time of year too!
I’ve put together some simple and easy fun activities using mini pumpkins that you and your toddler can do to celebrate Halloween and pumpkins all month long!

This first one is a great fine motor game! Decorate some patterns on mini pumpkins using stickers. We opted for dot stickers but any sticker you have in your home would make this a fun decorating game! Peeling and placing the stickers is a great way to strengthen those tiny fine motor skills and work on hand-eye coordination.

The next activity is simple an easy – roll and race your pumpkins! Create different ramps of varying heights and predict which ones will roll the fastest!

And the last one is messy fun! Use some washable paint and create a tub with water and dish soap for your little one to paint then scrub the pumpkins clean and paint all over again!

I hope these simple and fun activities add a little excitement to your October!
Stay spooky,
Callie Jo
